Difficult times require special flexibility: Martina Mueller-Callisti presents her collection “Callisti’s NEW NOW” at the MQ VIENNA FASHIONWEEK.20. “I almost didn’t get my fabrics,” says the designer, “I’m very glad that it worked out after all. We are mega late this year, but in the end everything ran out”.
“Callisti’s NEW NOW” refers to the changing times we are going through. The mask mutates into a key-piece, which we can’t imagine being without now and in the future. Based on this thought Martina Mueller-Callisti created a combination of mask and scarf – suitable for the cooler season.
“Callisti’s NEW NOW” is a taut collection, with a future-oriented touch, with positive associations. Pieces that can be worn elegantly and chic as well as casual. Combined with casual blouse shirts and cowboy booties.
“The tendency and the “must” to cover oneself, to show oneself less again, has inspired me to this collection, “says Martina Mueller-Callisti, “even a kind of veiling with a bandana, hat and high-necked dresses can be sexy. You always have to think one step further, further into a positive future”.
The collection includes ready-to-wear pieces – avant-garde outfits for the day but also red carpet couture and of course everything with the typical CALLISTI fancy-chic accessories that make the look so distinctive.
